Another view from Gold Camp that's a little bit higher than the last shot. The Broadmoor is off to the right of the reservoir

I'm pretty impressed with the view at the top of the climb. There are houses up there, but I don't know that I'd want to live there. It would be SUCH a pain driving up there in a blizzard. You can see downtown colorado springs a couple thousand feet below. The apartment that Ang and I live in is way off to the left. I don't think you can quite see it.

After last Sunday's semi-disastrous bike ride with the bike shop I frequent, My friend Russell and I attempted the same ride. The higher peak is what I think we climbed up. I could be wrong. I know it's not the lower peak. Either way, the perspective doesn't show you how big they really are

If I post they will come...

It's odd, there must be something that elevates blogs up in the "next blog" list when they post something. As soon as I post there are four dings on my counter. Well, welcome! I promise there will be more timely material soon.

More cleaning... This was on a club ride last season. Pikes Peak is the mountain in the background.

The shining visage of the Flabby Ironman0. Clearing my phone off... and figured that if anyone wandered over there'd be a pic.

Five seconds of fame...

well, maybe not that many...

but the Flabby Ironman has made an appearance at the excellent Tri Geek Dreams. In a response to a request made by Tri-Geek Kahuna yesterday, I told a story about getting dropped on Gold Camp Road south of town. Looking over at the website this morning, Tri-Kahuna took the comment and posted it on the main page. :-)

It brought a little smile ot the flabbyironman's face to see his name in electronic-print.

I've got a review of Constantine that will be going up very soon. I'll also be resuming regular posting. Things have been crazy.

If you get the chance, check out Red Penguin. It's the new production company that I'm busy launching here at work... and if you need some work done, give us a call.
